Perceptions of the Church are established one conversation at at time. As the new generation of the world, we know about the new technology better than the old ones, we use the internet all the time and we have a certain degree of knowledge of how internet works and how it brings news to people.
So, we can join the Church conversation by participating on the internet to share the gospel and to explain in simple and clear term the message of the Restoration.
Many people hold different opinions about the Church, and so of them only have a poor understanding of the Church because most of the information they hear about the Church is from news media reports that are often driven by controversies. And these controversies might confuse people on the perceptions of the Church.

I love your post! I like that you noticed that the media representation of the church may not always be true, and that we have a responsibility to learn for ourselves. This is impressive, especially because you are just learning about the church!
